Paying Fines Online

Southfield Library is fine fee. However, certain limitations apply. Read about our fines and fees here.

Please Note:

• To pay online, you must have an e-mail account.
• The minimum online payment accepted is $1.01.

How to pay fees and fines online:

1. Go to www.southfieldlibrary.org (this web site).
2. Click Catalog.
3. Click My Account.
4. Enter your name as it appears on your Library card account and enter your Library card barcode.
5. Click Submit.
6. If you have outstanding fines or fees on your account a Pay Online button will appear.
7. Click Pay Online.
8. Each fine on your account will be listed.  Click the box next to each fine you wish to pay.
9. Click Continue.
10. Enter your credit card number, select card type and enter the card’s expiration date.
11. Click Continue.
12. Enter the CSC number (the 3-digit security number on the back of your credit card).
13. Enter your billing information.
14. Click I authorize this transaction.
15. Click Submit transaction for processing.
16. The next screen will verify that your transaction has been approved.
17. A receipt for the transaction will be sent to your e-mail address.
