Let’s talk Library Cards:
If you have a Library card (give yourself a pat on your back) it expires every year on your birthday. If your card is expired or expiring soon you can renew it by coming to the drive up window with your Library card and driver’s license or state ID. If you have lost your card, you can get a new one for $3.00 cash.
If you have moved to Southfield or Lathrup Village since your last renewal, you need verification of your address. A rental agreement, mortgage statement or utility bill within the last 30 days can verify your address. You will need to bring those items with you along with your Library card and driver’s license.
If you do not yet have a Library card and live, work or attend school in Southfield or Lathrup Village you can apply for a card by visiting the Library.
If you are not sure if your card is expired, check your Library account online or call us at 248-796-4208.
