The Library is currently closed due to the national health emergency. However, WiFi is available outside the Library. The signal reaches around the building and into the parking lot. The Library SPL – Public connection is available for your use 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
The Southfield Public Library offers free and easy to connect to wireless internet access (also referred to as “wi-fi”) available whenever the Library is open. There is no password or code to enter; most users automatically connect if their device is set to detect new networks. Users of the Library’s wi-fi network are reminded that they must abide by the Library’s Public Computer Use & Internet Policy.
Please see a Librarian or call (248) 796 – 4200 if you have questions about the Library’s wi-fi service.
