The Southfield Public Library is excited to offer public computing to Library cardholders in good standing.
Access to computers is by appointment only. Patrons can make one 60 – minute computer appointment per day and must make the appointment using their Southfield Library card prior to coming to the Library. Library access is limited to the computer area and restrooms.
Providing a safe environment for both patrons and staff is critical.
WEARING A MASK IS REQUIRED and SOCIAL DISTANCING RESPECTED and OBEYED AT ALL TIMES.
If you do not have one, a mask will be provided.
You need to follow health and safety requirements in effect to protect yourself and others. You will be required to leave the Library if you do not.
All computer equipment and work areas are cleaned and disinfected after each use. All printers and card dispensers are cleaned and disinfected regularly. To allow for cleaning and to avoid crowding, appointments are staggered.
Any person who lives, works, owns property or attends school in Southfield or Lathrup Village and does not have a card is encouraged to apply for one online.
Access to books, movies and Library materials will continue to be through the drive-up window. Requests for materials and questions will continue via the phone and online request forms.
Before scheduling an appointment, please read our Computer Use Instructions.
