Our Friends Bookshelf hosts regular book sales like you’ve never seen before!
Sale items are organized for your browsing pleasure, materials are reasonably priced, and you’ll find an armful of great books, magazines, and other donated items you’ll want to take home! The Bookshelf (located on the main floor, off the Lobby) is usually open the first weekend of every month – see our Calendar for specific dates.
Donations are accepted yearlong. You may place books in the convenient book chute by the Circulation Desk along with magazines not older than 3 months. Please do not put cassettes, CDs, DVDs or similar objects down the chute – please give these to staff at the Circulation Desk. Take large quantities of donations to the Receiving area on the north side of the Library between the hours of 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Monday – Saturday. Ring the bell by the door and someone will open the doors so you can unload. Your donations keep our book sales successful!
