The Story of Sherwood Forest: One Hundred Years a Detroit Neighborhood

The history of the Sherwood Forest area of Detroit is in small part the story of a community of architecturally significant homes; it is in large part the story of the tenacity of a city neighborhood that has successfully met significant challenges in the course of its 100 years.

Sherwood Forest is a neighborhood that works, and the how and the why of that makes for an inspiring and instructive story for anyone interested in the concept of community and how it was achieved in one of the most fascinating places in urban America.

Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Wednesday, March 27th at 6:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room
