Shortly after Malcolm X’s assassination in 1965, Time magazine depicted him as “a pimp, a cocaine addict and a thief” and a couple years ago CNN referred to him as “an unashamed demagogue.” Join a MSU School of Journalism Professor as she reviews the evolution of news coverage of Malcolm X.
