Citizen Scientists: Recording Nature
July 30 @ 2:00 am - 3:00 pm
A Part of the 2018 Summer Reading Program: Read, Know, Grow
Citizen scientists are everyday people of all ages and walks of life who become involved in formal and informal research that advances fields spanning astronomy to zoology.
Explore the many fun ways that natural science can be recorded through photography, artist’s renderings, journals and data gathering. Learn how you can contribute to scientific research that leads to discoveries a single scientist could never achieve on their own. Bring your cameras, cell phones and sketch pads.
This is a STEAM Program for all ages!
