Blak Dog Concert

August 21 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for a night of blues and rock with Blak Dog. Blak Dog is a collaboration of very talented, seasoned Detroit blues and rock performers. They play original material rooted in multiple music styles, from traditional blues to blistering rock anthems. They are very tight with a fresh sound; very energetic and highly entertaining. Each member brings a different flavor to the mix.

Band leader and guitarist Alen Big Al Grebovic has played with many local blues bands for 20 years. Mixing rock and blues, he brings a contemporary sound to the band’s song list. Keyboardist Andy Szymanski has been making music for over 30 years and has played with many local bands, including the famous Butler Twins – Clarence and Curtis Butler – and Kenny Parker. Bass player Bobby Baker has traveled the world playing music with a long list of bands, national and local acts. His motto, “MUSIC…The only language in which you cannot say a mean or sarcastic thing”. Drummer Jon Johnson is highly respected in our area. He has performed and recorded with many great bands and has performed 21 times at Arts, Beats & Eats. Vocalist Rachel May brings fire and fury to Blak Dog. She is a well established and highly respected rock and roll icon.
