African American Resources for Genealogy

The Library of Michigan (LOM) is home to a great diversity of local history materials, including city and county histories, newspaper clippings, vital records, cemetery transcripts and plat maps that can be accessed during the Library’s business hours.

Tim Gleisner, Special Collections Manager from the LOM, will present on Genealogical research tools specific to African Americans available at the LOM.
