Library Assistant (open until filled)

Volunteering

From our Volunteer Coordinator:

The Friends of the Southfield Public Library need volunteers to assist in the Bookshelf. The Bookshelf is open the first Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday of every month. Volunteers would help at the sales in assisting customers, checking customers out, etc. In between the sale volunteers sort, organize, price and set up all the new donations.  Some tasks require the ability to push a cart with books, some lifting and bending.  I hope you see something that interests you or if you have other thoughts, please let me know – I’d love to talk with you more about this! Feel free to call me at (248) 796-4367 or email me at krembert@southfieldlibrary.org.
