Closed Due to COVID – 19 Exposure Through Sunday, October 18th

The Southfield Public Library is closed through Sunday, October 18th due to a staff COVID – 19 exposure. Drive Up Window and Computer Appointments will resume on Monday, October 19th.

The Library will remain closed in order to have a deep cleaning performed and for exposed staff to quarantine.  Our drive up window, phone reference and computer appointments are closed during this time.

Our website is open with e-books, audio books, movies, music, children’s resources and many research sources at www.southfieldlibrary.org.

Our digital library at https://southfieldlibrary.org/digital-library/ is open for e-books, audio books, movies, music and more. The amount of checkouts available on these has been doubled.

We have children’s resources like ABCMouse, BookFlix and TumbleBooks at https://southfieldlibrary.org/digital-library/books.

We have research sources available with your Library card, including Mango Languages to learn a new language, Creativebug to learn a new hobby, Reference Solutions for business and consumer data and far more at https://southfieldlibrary.org/research-sources/by-title.

If you have any Library materials, please keep them until we reopen. No fines will be assessed nor will anything be due until after the Library reopens.
